COVID-19 UPDATE
We are closely monitoring and following advice from the UK Government in relation to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and are implementing procedures to ensure we can continue to provide our clients with the service they need. At this moment we are still able to provide a full emergency repair service and all our suppliers will update us on any disruption to our deliveries that may affect operations.
Our business will operate as normal and opening hours remain the same. However, for both the safety and wellbeing of our customers and employees, we kindly ask that if you have you have a member within your household who is being shielded or any member of your household is experiencing any coronavirus symptoms as detailed on the official UK Government website here, that you please do not book a repair visit.
We’re equally committed to caring for our team and so have provided our staff with up-to-the-moment guidance and information so they can keep themselves and their families safe as follows:
- When we are attending visits to your property, our representatives will not be shaking hands (please do not take offence to this).
- We will also ensure that hand sanitiser is used prior to arrival or request to wash our hands upon arrival
- We will maintain a 2-metre distance from any household occupants in accordance with the guidelines from Public Health England. As such, you may be asked to move into another room whilst a repair is carried out to ensure everyone’s safety.
- No work will be carried out by any tradesmen who is experiencing any coronavirus symptoms – however mild.
The next few months are going to be a difficult and uncertain time for many of us, but I want to assure you that UK Double Glazing Repairs will be here to support you as much as we can.
